This an open letter that social conservative activist Bill Whatcott wrote to the Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal in Saskatchewan. I obtained it through Free Dominion.
Dear Anil Pandila, Q.C.,
I am certain you realize I have ignored your order and have been speaking out against the homosexual agenda ever since. To this day I hold your judgement in utter contempt. As a general rule, I believe it is wrong to show contempt towards those who are in positions exercising authority. As a Christian in as much as possible I believe it is my responsibility to co-operate with authorities for the good of our country and society.
I am certain the police in Regina will bear witness, in spite of my occasional brushes with them over my graphic abortion signs; that I have maintained a cordial relationship with them, and even assist them by calling in tips if I become aware of an emergency or criminal activity. While I have great respect for our police and mostly respect our Judges in as much as they interpret law, rather than invent it to promote socialist and sexually libertine causes, I have no respect for either you or the Human Rights Tribunal you sit on.
When one ignores true statistical evidence on the health and social risks of homosexuality, ignores the fact homosexual complainant ,Brendan Wallace, conceded the ad for men seeking boys was probably pedophile, ignores the historic right of Christians to freely communicate their faith – and then issues a harsher penalty for disseminating flyers disagreeing with sodomy and lesbianism than most car thieves and fraud artists would receive in this province, you forfeit your right to respect. In fact most of the rulings from unelected and unaccountable Human Rights Tribunals run contrary to the will of most sane Canadians, and as such Canadians should neither respect nor submit to the dictates of your politically correct, but woefully wrong, Tribunal.
To give the readers of this open letter an idea how out of touch Human Rights Tribunals are with reality, I will provide a few sample rulings besides your ruling against me:
1. Canadian Human Rights Tribunal (CHRT) ruled in August 2001, Kananagh vs Attorney General of Canada that Cynthia Kavanagh a convicted murderer who was born a man had a right to a tax funded sex change operation while incarcerated and had a right to be housed in a female prison. It should be noted this controversial procedure costs the taxpayer about $100,000 per federal inmate, and testimony was given some men who requested this irreversible procedure be done on them concluded afterwards they really weren’t “a woman in a man’s body” and suffered great regret and even committed suicide. Cynthia claimed he was a heterosexual woman at the kangaroo hearings and even though he had a male penis and male DNA to boot the CHRT ruled Cynthia posed no threat to women and that he should be transferred to a female prison to gets life experience living as a woman before the surgery. While at Joliette Institution, Cynthia started having sex with a real female inmate. Rather than admit insanity one of the CHRT “experts” concluded Cynthia was bisexual.
2. British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal ruled January 2002, Nixon vs Vancouver Rape Relief that Kimberly Nixon a transvestite male for 30 years had the “right” to volunteer at the women’s only rape relief centre as a female counsellor. In addition to ordering rape relief to accept him as a female counsellor, Tribunal Chair MacNaughton ordered the non profit organization to pay Nixon $7,500 for “hurt feelings and loss of self respect.”
3. Prince Edward Island Human Rights Tribunal ruled May 2001, Bedard and Corneau vs Cepicas that two sodomites who wanted to sodomize each other at Arnold and Dagmar Cepica’s bed and breakfast (which was also their private home) had a right to do so, notwithstanding the Cepica’s Christian faith and consistency of only allowing heterosexuals to sleep together in their home if they were married. The Cepicas were forced to pay $1,000 to each of the sodomites and close their bed and breakfast down.
I want to be clear with you, Mr. Pandila, and to the Saskatchewan public, my open defiance of your order and my denunciation of your pro-homosexual activism is not a personal attack on you, and should not be interpreted as vindictive. I have nothing against you personally. I have everything against what you stand for in your judgement, and I am opposed to your abuse of our great democracy by issuing huge fines (which I will never pay) in an attempt to silence Christians who speak out against homosexuality.
The fact is, Mr. Pandila, homosexuality is wrong. I did not lie when I stated in my earlier flyers that sodomites are 430 times more likely to acquire HIV/AIDs than heterosexuals. I will also share another stark bit of information with you. A twenty year old man who engages in sodomy with another man has a 30% chance of being HIV positive - or dead - by age 30. [i]
Mr. Pandila, I also want to share with you that homosexual men inherit a host of other health problems related to their sexual behaviour, i.e.: gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis, anal warts, genital warts, prolapsed rectums, rectal caner, bowel infections and more - but this should suffice for you to get the picture. All of the above mentioned diseases infect homosexuals at far greater rates than heterosexuals. Some of these debilitating and deadly diseases are exclusive to homosexuals.
Mr. Pandila, you are dead wrong in prohibiting me from speaking out about these things. You do a great disservice to all Canadians, and you are actually putting the health of homosexuals at risk by not allowing me to warn them of the deadly consequences of their behaviour.
Mr. Pandila, you had no right to prohibit me from drawing attention to statistical information and anecdotal information showing sodomites and lesbians engage in anti-social behaviour, promiscuity and child sexual abuse at rates far more prevalent than that of heterosexuals. You said in your judgement, you view Section 14 of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code as a “reasonable restriction” on my right to freedom of expression. If Section 14 of the code prohibits honest criticism of homosexuality, statistical evidence of its devastating consequences - and hope that homosexuals can be set free through the power of Jesus Christ then Section 14 is an ass, and ought to be changed or abolished. In fact, human rights codes and tribunals should be abolished, period. Your loose standards of evidence, overt left wing bias, anti-Christian bigotry, lack of consistency and rationality in rulings, renders you a threat to democracy, at worst, and a complete waste of taxpayer’s money, at best.
It is a fact that a greater percentage of homosexuals molest children than their heterosexual counterparts. Sodomites only consist of between 2 – 3% of the population. Yet they commit of over 33% of the reported sex offences. [ii]
Prohibiting me from stating these facts inhibits informed debate on whether sodomites and lesbians are suitable candidates to be foster parents, Boy Scout leaders, priests, or adoptive parents. You do a disservice to children by attempting to silence these facts. I won’t submit to your order and sell out Saskatchewan’s children to placate your political correctness. I would rather stand in solidarity with the vulnerable children in our society – even if it means I have to sit in jail.
In closing, Mr. Pandila, I want to share that there is hope for both you and struggling homosexuals. That hope is found in a far greater Judge than yourself. God will judge our hearts, and before Him alone we will stand or fall.
“God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.” - Romans 2:16.
You can sell yourself out in this life to further your law career, but in the next life you will be pretty poor when God reveals your hypocrisy and injustice. Listen to these words of Christ, your King and giver of life: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.” John 5:24-29
Repent and believe the Gospel dear Anil. Whatever power you have in this life will be of no consequence in the next. Your promotion of homosexuality and political correctness might earn you merit with Canada’s elitists but such behaviour will only leave you with a legacy of corruption, filth and dishonesty in the long run. Literally your rebellion in this area could cost you your eternal soul.
