UK: Mom wins abortion lawsuit

A mother-of-three has received £27,500 in compensation from a hospital trust after an abortion was performed on her without proper consent.

Ms Cooper from Ongar, Essex signed an abortion consent form but two days before the scheduled procedure she developed doubts after watching an anti-abortion video.

When she arrived at the hospital, Ms Cooper told staff she only wanted to go through with the abortion because of medical concerns and asked for more information, but was taken into theatre upset and tearful.

"Trust women", so the mantra goes.

Until she goes back on abortion decision. Then she's just being hysterically anti-abortion.
