VIDEO: 40 Days for Life Kick-off Rally and Candlelight Procession in Ottawa

I'd like to commend John Pacheco for arranging to get these videos from the 40 Days for Life rally that was held on Septemeber 23rd. This is exactly what we need to do, fellow pro-lifers. When there is an event, bring your camera. Do not rely on the media to publicize this event: do it ourselves. We must learn to do all this ourselves. In the age of the internet, it is possible.

I'd like to start with the videos of the testimony given by Angelina Steenstra of Silent No More. She spoke about how she was date raped and directed to get an abortion. Stories like this cut across the debate and the shrillness of the culture wars and get to the heart of the issue.

And in case you don't have a chance to watch all three, I want to emphasize this. She says that what set her free was the truth about abortion-- that it killed her child. She needed forgiveness and to forgive-- the person who raped her, the people who told her to get aborted and society, which promoted it.
