Jesus' mission was first and foremost a mission to save man from his own limitations and imperfections. Jesus was focused on saving the individual, not saving society.
This is the Good News: you do not have to go at it alone. You do not have to be alienated from God. Our own persons, and the world, are full of imperfections and limitations. But God has none of them, and he is our destiny. This is Our Hope. Everlasting Joy is our eternal gift if we accept this truth and act on it.
