LDI: Need women helped by Crisis Pregnancy ctrs

In the States, Planned Parenthood's latest attack on the Culture of Life is Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Lawsuits are being launched against CPC's for "deceptive" advertizing.

What I find disturbing about this lawsuit is that people will have genuine differences of opinions in good faith. Whether abortion causes breast cancer, inferility, and so on, is not a settled issue. Scientists don't agree, so why should the Courts enforce ideological conformity?

I also find it ironic that the pro-abortion is all about "My Body, My Choice" but if a woman disagrees with PP on what to do with her body, that's not okay! You're only allowed to not agree to abortion on PP's terms. If you accept abortion causes breast cancer, infertility, depression and so forth, that's not okay. You are not allowed to draw that conclusion. Maybe someone should retort "My brain, my conclusions!" Or something a little catchier.

Life Decisions International, a group that runs Crisis Pregnancy centers also expects CPC to be the subject of Congressional Hearings, that will investigate the practices of Crisis Pregnancy Centres.

To counter this effort, LDI is looking for women who have been helped by Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

This is a brilliant move.

We've had women talk about having abortions, and how it affected them negatively, through the Silent No More Campaign.

We've had women talk about how great it is to have legalized abortion (all the while how it made them feel crappy) through Ms. Magazine.

It's about time we show the alternative to having an abortion: having the baby!

This is a great campaign.
