This is a video from Dateline NBC, featuring a story on an operation on a five-month-old fetus named Garrett, who had a large, life-threatening tumour in his chest.
In this day and age, there are still people still perpetuate the myth that the fetus is part of the woman's body.
The video has a few icky scenes, but on the whole, it's fairly tolerable, and worth the watch.
Once again, this goes to show the humanity of the unborn child. The more we learn of the unborn child, the more the stereotypes of him being an amorphous, unresponsive mass are blown away.
