Says Joseph Quesnel in the Winnipeg Sun:
Clearly, this is an issue about the independent advisory council. While they are free from government entanglements, this does not mean that they are free of bias. While some appointments involve controversy, it is evident that the controversy skews one way.
When I saw the name Yvan Guindon was a member of the of the Order of Canada Advisory Council, I said to myself: that name rings a bell.
He is the President of the Royal Society of Canada.
I googled his name and found out that he is on the board of the Stem Cell Network.
The Stem Cell Network favours the use of embryonic stem cell research.
So we have a staunch pro-abortion judge on the advisory council.
And a man who favours killing embryonic life for research.
See a bias anywhere?
