LaBenz made national news in 1979 when information surfaced revealing he ordered a nurse to abandon a late-term baby weighing 2 pound 9 ounces who was born alive during a saline abortion.
The baby was placed in a "dirty utility room" to cry unattended where he died two and a half hours later.
But what the hell? If we cared anything about that baby, we'd have to saddle the mother with parenting. God forbid that anyone take responsibility for that baby. Fetuses aren't that important as Joyce Arthur would say.
