Economic concerns were raised by more than 60 percent of Australian women who took part in a survey that sought the factors involved in their decision to delay having children.
Next came a woman's career being "too important to me right now" (40 percent), not having found the right partner (37 percent) and concerns about baby delivering a "loss of freedom" (31 percent).
I wonder: what is the fertility rate of rich Australian women?
I think the financial reason is often just another way of saying: "I'd rather do something else with my money." It's just more politically correct to say "I don't have enough money."
