Jackson attorney Steve Thornton says Ashley was treated "like she was dangerous in some fashion" but describes her as an "elderly, small woman."
The attorney says a trial scheduled for this week has been delayed until July.
Ashley claims she was promised release from jail if she would sign a document but says she declined because she wasn't told the charge. So she sat in jail for quite a while shackled.
