I usually don't follow these racialized police brutality stories very closely, but from what I've seen, I think this story is way overblown (as usual).
So I'm linking to this blogpost containing extensive details of the events surrounding the infamous police aggression against the young black girl resisting arrest. I offer it but in a spirit of "buyer beware" and I encourage you to use your judgement in assessing details.
