If a few baby girls have to die in the name of fighting misogyny, so what?

Maclean's Magazine on sex-selection abortion:

Restricting reproductive rights would be far easier with an existing law banning what amounts to an aberration of the practice. By draping itself in the flag of gender equality, the anti-abortion movement is rehashing a debate it lost long ago. It’s a savvy and cynical move, and should be recognized as such.

As if pro-lifers were just against gender equality to begin with.

Liberals are always game to ban any misogynistic practice. Any practice, that is, except abortion. If a few baby girls must die in the name of fighting misogyny, so what?

Misogynistically killing baby girls is a reproductive right, feminists claim.

Wrap your head around that.
