Canadians for Ron Paul

A group of Canadians has organized a Facebook group for Ron Paul, the American presidential candidate.

From the website:

Ron Paul is a constitutionalist.

Ron has never voted to raise taxes.
Ron has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
Ron has never voted for the Iraq War.
Ron has never voted to raise his own pay in Congress.
Ron voted against the Patriot Act.
Ron votes against regulating the Internet.
Ron votes against reinstating a military draft.
Ron votes to preserve the constitution.
Ron votes to cut government spending.
Ron votes to lower healthcare costs.
Ron votes to protect civil liberties.
Ron votes to protect religious freedom.

Each year he returns a portion of his annual budget to the National Treasury. He has returned over 1 million dollars of taxpayers money by being able to streamline his office and save taxpayers money. Was voted "Taxpayers best friend" and would get rid of income tax altogether as was written originally in the Constitution which said a person could not be taxed on their labor.

I like what I see with Ron Paul. I'm not sure I agree with the pullout of Iraq. And I'm not that big a Libertarian, but I like the fact is he so plainly outspoken for unborn children and makes no apologies about that.

Do any readers want to weigh in on him in the comments section?
