Witnesses say they lied, but he'll be executed nonetheless

Troy Davis is scheduled to die in Jackson, Georgia, tomorrow, Tuesday at 7 pm for the 1989 killing of officer Mark MacPhail.

According to reports, 7 of the 9 witnesses who inculpated him have recanted their testimony. An eigth has moved out of state and will not talk about the case. The ninth, Sylvester Coles, is believed to be the true colour, who cannot confess to lying without confessing to murder.

It's a bit eleventh-hour, but you might want to take action at this website.

UPDATE:

PRAISE THE LORD! He's been granted a 90-day stay of execution.
