Unborn should be considered victims too

How did this story make the news?

There's no context, nothing to explain why this statement is important. Is the Nova Scotia Catholic Women's League having its convention?

It's in response to this news story which reports that a man attacked his partner with a sword.

Police had wanted to charge Bryan with attempting to murder the fetus as well as the woman.

"Initially, we believed that we could charge this man with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon," Brien said. "However, upon further consultation with the Crown it's been determined that we can only do one count of these charges because you can't actually lay a charge in the case of an unborn child."

Thank you feminists. Thank you for marginalizing people's unborn children.

God Bless the Halifax police.

Where's the response by the feminists saying such charges are unnecessary and don't worry your pretty little head about an unborn child?

More details on the case.

It's time that the Conservative government step up to the plate and respect the unborn victims of crime of Canada.
