An interesting conversation with Tory MP Dean Allison on Bill C-484

Tory MP Dean Allison says the MSM has mischaracterized the Conservative government approach to Bill C-484 and their new proposed bill to make pregnancy an aggravating factor in sentencing. According to RootleWeb:

Nicholson's bill is intended to provide the same protection to pregnant women, should Epp's bill not pass.

Interesting spin. They're trying to make it sound like they're tending to their base.

I have said often that a bill making pregnancy an aggravating factor is a good first step, but inadequate. I suspect many people think the same thing.
