No difference between born and unborn baby

Yesterday evening, I took a walk with my baby in the baby carrier, and thought about Bill C-484.

I looked at my baby and asked myself: what's the difference?

What is the difference between this baby in a Snugli, and a baby in my uterus?

There's none.

If a criminal had killed my daughter in the womb, she would be just as dead as if she were held in my Snugli.

That seems obvious to most Canadians. But not to feminists.

At the very least, the woman's right to her fetus should be recognized, and upheld by the law.

How that can be so controversial?
