Canadian Press Botches Abortion Story -- Updated

Canadian Press reports that three MP's are trying to get post-viability abortions investigated as homicides...

Without mentioning the fact that these babies were born live, as per their letter:

According to the Criminal Code, a child is considered to be a human being and a person after proceeding fully from the mother's womb, therefore, based on Section 223(2) of the Criminal Code, there should be 491 homicide investigations or prosecutions in connection with these deaths.

As you would know, Section 223(2) of the Criminal Code reads, "A person commits homicide when he causes injury to a child before or during its birth as a result of which the child dies after becoming a human being." That is to say, anyone who interferes with a pregnancy such that the child dies after it is born alive due to that interference is guilty of homicide.

Lifesite is on the case. 

UPDATE at 3:13-- they just changed the story a few minutes ago and they STILL didn`t mention the live births. 

UPDATE at 11:48 PM A facebook friend wrote to Canadian Press concerning the article. Here was the reply:

Thank you for taking the time to write to The Canadian Press about our story about the three MPs and their position on abortion.

I can assure you that our reporter and his editors all read the letter very carefully. We have no hidden agenda whatsoever on this issue, but are simply reporting the facts and quoting the newsmakers.
