Decline of the Felt Banner: Most Pressing Problem in the Catholic Church

Forget the felt banner.

The kids don't do enough crafts in religious ed.!

They don't colour enough! They don't cut and glue enough! How do you expect kids to learn about the faith without pipe cleaners and sparkles? Someone answer me that.

In my day, when we had religion class, we were expected to draw pictures.

I mean goodness knows the best way to assimilate the meaning of the Gospel was to draw it.

The Pope must address this pressing and long-ignored issued. Give kids more crafts to do, and they'll come to class and to church. It's such a winning formula!
