Irish Politicians Discouraged From Taking Communion

While this should be the predictable consequence of supporting abortion, I find the approach a bit weak.

In voting for abortion, the TD's committed a public act.

The rebuke of that public act should be public so that other Catholics know it is unacceptable to vote for abortion.

It is also a bit weak that we don't know the names of the clergy who are denying communion.

We need to know who is applying Catholic doctrine, and who isn't.
