Abortion Will Never Be De-Stigmatized

Carafem is a new abortion clinic with a spa-like atmosphere, where women will be given a first abortion pill.

Then sent home to miscarry.

Does nobody see the problem?

They create this wonderful-looking looking clinic to make women feel better, then they're going to send her home to have the abortion.(She has to be out in 60 minutes. Some spa!) I'm sure since low-income women have a disproportionate number of abortions, the digs for some of these miscarriages are not going to be pretty...

And they don't suppose that when a number of these women expel their embryo and they come face-to-face with their unborn child that that won't stigmatize abortion?

Really? REALLY?

At least with suction abortions, the fetal remains are hidden.

I have read a few accounts of women who have had their abortions at home. Not some of these abortions are ho-hum affairs. And some of them are fairly traumatic because they're left on their own to deal with this miscarriage, including the remains. I have no doubt that this will make the stigmatization even worse because women will see what abortion really does.

But okay, if they think nice floors is what's going to de-stigmatize abortion, they can believe their little fantasy. As long as abortion is associated with blood and dismembered bodies, it will never be de-stigmatized.
